BY CAR

For those arriving from Sestri Levante A12 motorway exit at SESTRI LEVANTE, at the second roundabout turn left and continue for about 400 metres, then turn right (along the railway line) at the Moneglia Tunnel sign. Continue until the 2nd traffic light. The road to the tunnels is alternating one-way and is regulated by a traffic light (green at 3.35pm and 55pm of every hour) from this moment on it is advisable not to use the navigator AFTER THE 5TH TUNNEL IMMEDIATELY TURN RIGHT (height of the football field in Località La Secca) and continue 3 hairpin bends (1) on the climb, when you will find Villa Edera & La Torretta, going down slightly next to the Hotel. At the large gate with Michelin plaque, ring if closed to park inside.

For those arriving from DEIVA MARINA continue along the Dante Alighieri seafront and after waiting for the traffic lights (25,35,45 every hour) 1 tunnel and immediately turn left following an uphill road, 3 hairpin bends etc.

ON THE TRAIN

Leaving the Moneglia FFSS station (on the Sestri Levante-La Spezia line), continue straight for about 40 metres, in the curve at the first crossroads towards Via Canepa there are some gray garages and a car park with exposed stones. Orto’s private lift is marked by a luminous sign “Hotel Villa Edera”. By ringing the intercom you will have direct access to the Orto Reception. Leaving the first gate at the top (button on the left next to the rose) you will find a second gate for entry to Villa Edera and Ristorante Orto (red Michelin plaque) ring at the gate for access.
